Health and breathing
This workshop is not recommended for people with asthma or other breathing problems. Cutting and sanding make fine wood dust. Masks are provided and must be worn while sanding, but some dust stays in the air.
Our safety commitments
- Tools are inspected before every session, and a supervisor oversees every machine step.
- Eye protection, dust masks and gloves are provided and must be worn.
- Work areas are kept clear, and machines are switched off when not in use.
Risks
Woodworking with power tools (miter saw, jigsaw, drill, router, sander) carries risks, including cuts, abrasions, splinters, flying debris, dust and noise. Some of these may cause serious injury. No amount of supervision or safety equipment removes these risks entirely.
Assumption of risk and release of liability
You take part voluntarily and accept full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage to yourself or your property during the workshop, whether it comes from your own actions, other guests, or the ordinary risks of woodworking.
In exchange for being allowed to take part, you release and hold harmless the workshop organizer and any staff or instructors present from any claims, liability, costs or demands arising from your participation, except where an injury results from gross negligence or willful misconduct on the organizer's part.
You confirm that you
- are 18 years or older,
- are physically able to take part,
- will follow the supervisor's instructions, and
- will report any injury or unsafe condition immediately.
Booking, deposit and cancellation
- A 50% deposit locks your seat. Send it within 48 hours of booking via Whish Money, OMT or NEO to +961 79 340 880. Unpaid holds are released after that.
- The remaining 50% is paid on the day of the session.
- 7 days or more before your session: full refund of your deposit.
- 3 to 7 days before: no refund, but you can move to another date for free.
- Less than 3 days before: the deposit is not refunded and the date can't be changed.
- If we cancel: full refund, or a new date of your choice.
